Le Commissioni del Premio Best Paper ATI ed. 2021 si sono riunite e hanno assegnato i seguenti premi:
Per il riconoscimento di Best Paper ATI 2021 riservato a giovani ricercatori di Fisica Tecnica, è stato selezionato l'articolo scientifico "Numerical investigation on latent thermal energy storage in shell and corrugated internal tube with PCM and metal foam", di Bernardo Buonomo, Francescantonio Di Somma, Oronzio Manca, Sergio Nardini, Renato Elpidio Plomitallo. La Commissione ha conferito menzione per l'originalità a due articoli classificati secondi a pari merito:
"Preliminary environmental and economic assessment of polyurethane foam produced by microwave-assisted liquefaction of riparian shrubs", di Alessandro Cardarelli, Franco Cotana, Ilaria Baffo, Gianluca Cavalaglio, Marco Barbanera;
"Characterization of aerosol and assessment of the risk of transmission of SARS-COV-2 VIRUS in a natural thermal cave", di Mauro Scungio and Giulia Parlani.
Nell'ambito della Categoria C1 Ambito Macchine a fluido e dei Sistemi per l'Energia e l'Ambiente, il Premio Caputo è stato assegnato all’articolo: "Experimental analysis of the unsteady flow inside a Wells turbine, Fabio Licheri" di Pierpaolo Puddu, Tiziano Ghisu e Francesco Cambuli.
La Commissione ha, infine, assegnato una Menzione speciale all’articolo "Sizing and operation of energy storage by Power-to-Gas and Underwater Compressed Air systems applied to offshore wind power generation" di Elena Crespi, Luca Mammoliti, Paolo Colbertaldo, Paolo Silva e Giulio Guandalini.
